A song made from your own words.
Your funeral director can arrange a song and a short film about someone who has died, made from your own photographs and what you remember.
Have you been given a link?
Open it from the text message or email your funeral director sent you. There is no password and nothing to sign in to.
If the link will not open, we can help you get a new one.
What it is
One song, written from what you tell us about them, and a short film of your own photographs set to it. The words appear on screen as they are sung.
It is made with AI, from the photographs and words you share. We would rather say that plainly than have you find out later. It will not sound like a chart record made over six months. It will be true to them, because everything in it came from you.
What you would be doing
Step 1. You get a link
By text or email, from your funeral director. There is no password and no account to make. Opening it is all you have to do.Step 2. You add photographs
From your phone, at home. For the photographs that matter most, we ask who is in them and why you chose them. Those answers are where the words come from.Step 3. Others can help
You can invite family who want to add something, and each of them gets their own link. It does not have to be one person doing all of it.Step 4. You take as long as you need
You can stop and come back. Nothing is decided until you say so, and if it becomes too much you can ask your funeral director to finish it for you.
You read the words before anything is sung
You see the whole song written out before it is recorded. If a verse gets something wrong, or misses something you wanted in the song, you change that verse and we write it again.
Nothing is finished until you say it is.
What you are given
- The song, as a file you can keep and play anywhere.
- The film, if you have enough photographs for one. If you have only a few, the song on its own is complete. It is not a lesser version of anything.
- A private page that holds both, for as long as you want it. Nobody else can find it. You can send it to whoever you like, and stop sending it later.
What we will never do
- We do not use the voice of the person who died.
- The film is your photographs. We do not make video of them that is not a real picture.
- Nothing here is meant to sound like them or answer for them. It is a tribute you are making in their memory.
If you would like one
Ask your funeral director. They arrange it, and it goes on their invoice with everything else. There is nothing for you to set up or pay for on this site.
If they do not offer it yet, you can say that you would like them to. They can come to us and we will speak to the home. There is no hurry and nothing is expected of you.
